Nukezilla is a videogame blog built on the WordPress platform. I created the main theme and several custom plug-ins to tailor the look, feel and back-end administration to the site's needs. This includes a custom front page, review tracking system, mobile site, content scheduler and staff admin pages.

Wire.vg is a videogame news tracking service providing users with the very latest news. The site automatically detects and displays the most talked about topics as well as providing developers an advanced API to build further applications on the service.

Creeds Direct

Creeds Direct is a fully custom e-commerce site with order tracking and a payment gateway. Built to a very tight budget the site sells a range of products and handles orders, shopping carts and payments.

Artinvesta is an artwork viewing and trading website allowing artists to share and sell their artwork. It has a complex database tracking transactions, collections and licensing deals as well as artists' individual stories.

The Manchester Mule

The Mule is a WordPress powered "Manchester based non-profit independent media project". The site uses a number of WordPress features as well as some custom widgets. It's built to be fast and easy to update.

Heritage Fund Group

The HFG site has simplicity and class. It consists of three unique pages, each with a specific design and purpose. The site has a fluid layout designed to replicate a physical brochure.

A mySQL powered store of things, and reasons they are crap. A tongue-in-cheek database which allows people to vote if reasons are good or bad. There's currently more than a thousand user submitted things, and more than two thousand reasons they are crap.

Roller Derby Test O'Matic

The sport of Roller Derby has a lot of rules. I built this easy to use site as a way to learn the rules. It has a large database of questions which it uses to ask the user multiple choice rules questions. Using jQuery the site is able to simply and elegantly present the user with a simple site, whilst doing relatively complex statistics tracking.

The Heavy The Game

Built for the PC and Xbox LIVE Arcade game based on the film The Heavy, the site has a simple, fluid design highlighting the necessary marketing material. Built to a basic specification the multi-page site is simple, clean, customisable and easy to update.

I have built and published a number of simple, single-page landing and squeeze pages to greet customers and promote products. The pages are all very basic and built with customisation and ease of use in mind. Each is also tailored to the specific client's needs.

I'm a freelance web developer and work on projects ranging in scale from basic, static home pages, all the way up to custom e-commerce solutions and WordPress themes and plug-ins.

As a consultant I've helped people with all manner of problems. I work a lot with people getting to grips with the many intricacies and complexities of the web (I know first hand how frustrating and bewildering a lot of the jargon can be). I've also provided some emergency assistance to sites in trouble due to unexpected increases in traffic or security breaches.

I was born in 1986 and have had an interest in technology for as long as I can remember. I have a Bsc in Computer Engineering and an Msc in Advanced Computer Science, both from The University of Manchester.

I pride myself on the quality of my work as well as being flexible, approachable, understandable and fair.
